The day begins with an exclusive tour led by Bear Creek Farm's founder, Debra Kaye, who shares insights into the optimal cultivation and harvesting techniques of dahlias. This session is rich with our farm’s history and our sustainable practices. Post tour, enjoy a specially curated lunch, fostering connections with fellow floral enthusiasts. The afternoon blooms with creativity under the guidance of Kristi Zunk, our Director of Floral Design. Kristi’s workshop reveals the vast potential of dahlias, using both traditional and foraged materials to enhance their natural beauty. Here, each participant crafts a personal floral arrangement, discovering the unique language of dahlias as they blend color, texture, and form.
