Plant these seeds after the last spring frost date in 1/4" of soil and 9" apart in an area with full sun. Pinch when approximately 12" tall. Allow 70-90 days for flowers to reach maturity. Zinnias are ready to cut when the stem is firm and does not wiggle. Seeds can also be started indoors in trays 4-6 weeks before the last frost date and transplanted out when danger of frost has passed.
