Plant these seeds after the last spring frost date in a light layer of soil and 9"- 12" apart in an area with full sun. Pinch when approximately 12" tall. Allow 75-90 days for flowers to reach maturity. Cosmos can be cut when petals start to unfurl. Seeds can also be started indoors in trays 4-6 weeks before the last frost date and transplanted out when danger of frost has passed.
